Case Study: Quantum Engineering and Exati

See how Exati assisted in modernizing Quantum's operational control.

Quantum Engineering has been operating in various segments of the electric sector throughout Brazil for over 30 years.

Whether for private or public companies, it provides engineering projects and services with quality, technology, and safety, always respecting the environment.

Scenario before Exati

A large part of Quantum's management was done using spreadsheets and paper, and it also required the support of several supervisors to closely monitor the work performed by external teams. This required travel by car or motorcycle, resulting in additional resource expenditures.

The company's daily operations required a system that could centralize information and enable real-time monitoring without the need to physically travel to the desired public lighting location.

What changed with Exati?

In 2019, Exati was integrated into Quantum's processes to enhance the delivery of services provided by the company.

This integration enabled the verification of service completion, quality management monitoring, and work order dispatch through an app or web version, eliminating the need to manage paperwork and parallel spreadsheets.

“The Exati system meets the requirements outlined in PPP contracts, encompassing all aspects comprehensively. This allows the manager to access a complete, real-time overview of external teams, work orders, material movements, and more.

Additionally, I can efficiently manage and access all relevant information about a lighting point, including inventory data. This abundance of information is instrumental in making strategic decisions based on the collected data.

My experience with Exati has been characterized by continuous improvement.

Result

Since 2019, the integration of Exati into Quantum's operational routine has revolutionized the handling of public lighting point requests. Now, without needing to leave the office, it is possible to investigate and resolve these demands, as well as create work orders on the web version and receive them directly through the app.

This improvement in service management has led to a significant decrease in complaints, resulting in greater satisfaction among citizens. With updates via SMS, feedback by email, and the Exati app providing progress updates on maintenance requests, citizens feel more informed and assured, avoiding the frustration of submitting multiple requests.

In addition to optimizing the handling of maintenance requests, Exati has streamlined the process of verifying and monitoring the quality of services provided.

This multidisciplinary system has not only improved operational management but also supports the Human Resources department by simplifying the registration of materials, Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), and other administrative aspects. It can also cover other operational areas and sectors, as well as all PPP indicators.

Currently, Exati has broadened its scope to include other contracts within the Quantum Group, contributing to the effective management of all active Public-Private Partnerships (PPPs).

With Exati, the management of service locations has achieved a new level of efficiency. The system is currently utilized to manage 340.000 assets in 14 different cities.

Additionally, Exati streamlines the scheduling of maintenance tasks, enabling them to be planned in advance for a smoother and more effective operation.
